Should I switch pest control companies?

Am I getting ripped off by my pest control company? Should I try another company?

There are three reasons why you should try another Pest Control company:

  1. You’re getting charged too much money

  2. The company you hired to make your life convenient is doing the opposite

  3. You need something different.

How much did you pay for Pest Control? In Spanish Fork in 2024 most of our neighbors are doing a quarterly pest control service. And most of them are doing a quarterly service. And they are paying between $100 per service and $150 per service. Or between $400 and $600 per year.

If you’re in this range, then you are not getting ripped off. But you know your budget.

The other reason you might want to switch a Pest Control service? Because the company is not making your life easier. They might even be making it harder. You might have issues with scheduling, or billing, or the service itself.

Is it hard to get a hold of the company? Is it hard to have the office understand you? Maybe they listen to you, but they forget to send a technician out. Or maybe the technician shows up but he doesn’t have any notes so you have to re-explain yourself again!

How about the technician? Does he make you feel comfortable? Or does he creep you out more than the bugs? Does the company send a different technician every time? Or the same technician? And how do you feel about that?

Maybe you are paying a good price, but the company is making your life difficult.

The true cost of owning a car is all the added costs. The true cost of pest control is what you pay with your time and your energy--as well as your money. Sometimes working with the Pest Control company can be difficult. And that makes it not worth it. If this is the case, you might want to try a different pest control company.

The last reason to try a different Pest Control company? Because you need something different. Maybe your schedule changed and now you need a company on the weekend. Not every company is going to be able to accommodate that.

Or maybe you have a bedbug or termite issue. Not every company is set up to handle that competently. Some companies don’t offer it at all. But what is worse is companies who offer it but are NOT good at it.

If you are frustrated with your current pest control company you may be ready to jump ship. If you switch to another Pest Control company, it might be better... or it might be worse.
