Rodent control and mouse control in Spanish Fork

MOUSE CONTROL IN SPANISH FORK, SPRINGVILLE, AND PAYSON UTAH

"We have seen more mice in the last this year than we have since we moved to Spanish Fork."

What can we do for mice?

We offer mouse control as a complimentary service for any customers who have a quarterly pest control plan with us. Before you go and sign up for that service, you need to know what it covers. The truth is, we won't be the right fit for everyone, and we want you to know that up front.

We offer a basic mouse control services. We have some traps, and baits that we can use. Which ones we use really depend on your situation. Pets, young kids, and family preferences all play in a role in deciding how we treat for the mice in your home.

Your technician will come to your home and figure out what's really going on. Then you can work with them to determine what the best treatment plan is.

How do you know if you have mice inside?

Well, the most obvious answer is that you saw a mouse inside. But if you did, I don't think you're spending much time on this paragraph. We don't want to offend anyone by asking if you've actually seen a mouse. Sometimes customers call in at the first signs of disturbance, not after they have seen the little ears and tail.

You can still tell if a mouse has been inside, even if you haven't seen one. Here are a few signs you can look for:

  • You can likely find rodent droppings near food packages, drawers, cabinets, and under sinks. The droppings will be small and moist and when they dry out they turn gray and crumble.

  • Gnaw marks on food packaging or around the house.

  • You witness your pets pawing at a particular area.

  • Rodents love using paper, fabric and other soft materials to make nests, so if you see a pile of materials like this it could be a rodent problem.

  • Scratching noises coming from the walls or ceilings.

When you call in to LOCAL Bug Guy let us know which of these you've seen.

What can you do for mice on your own?

If you're looking to take care of the problem yourself and save a little money, here is what you can do:

  • Seal any access points: Mice can fit through hole their head can fit through. This means if any hole 1/4" or the gap width of a pencil. If tracking all those down and sealing them up seems like a lot of work, that's because it is. Some companies charge thousands of dollars to do this for you (we don't offer this service.)

  • Where to look: Check all doorways, windows, anywhere electrical conduit enters the exterior wall, and water faucets.

  • Set traps around the home and garage: We recommend setting up traps and checking them occassionally. There are different types, from the classic snap kind to sticky glue boards.

  • Clean up: Mice are looking for food and shelter (nesting material). Pet food and left over snacks from toddlers or teenagers are exactly what mice are looking for.

We may not be the best fit if:

The truth is we can't help everyone. We only offer services we know we can do really well. This means we intentionally limit what we do for mice.

You shouldn't call us if you:

  • Are looking for a 1 time rodent service

    • We only offer rodent services to customers who have an existing plan with us.

  • Are in need of a "Rodent Exclusion."

    • These services often require a team of workers who will patch all the gaps in your home exterior.

    • They cost thousands of dollars. but often come with warranties of up to a year.

  • Don't want baits or traps.

    • That's what we got. If you're looking for something else, we're not gonna be able to help.

If we are unable to provide mouse control for you, we don't want you to think we don't care. Our goal is to help anyone we can solve their mouse problem. We're happy to offer more tips for you, or even recommend a company we would trust for our own home for services we do not offer. Give us a call and we'll see what we can do to help.
